Public Primary School no 2 under the name of Hans Christian Andersen is situated in Radom. There are 554 students (7-15) and 53 teachers of different specialization. The school implements the goals and tasks resulting from legal regulations and taking into account the school’s set of curricula and the educational and preventive program adapted to the developmental needs of students and the needs of the environment. The aim of education at school is, above all, to care for the integral biological, cognitive, emotional, social and moral development of the student. We put emphasis both on developing basic skills as well as key competences, including communication in foreign languages, IT, social and civic competences, mathematics and competences in the field of natural sciences and ecology. Students conduct various educational projects.
We organize campaigns promoting health, reading, human rights, tolerance.We constantly strive to raise the effects of didactic work.
